Superman
Reboots can be a hit or miss, but this year’s reboot of the superhero classic Superman is already creating a buzz. Audiences will be transported right to the start of the Superman journey as this film focuses on Clark Kent’s journey of balancing his Kryptonian heritage and human upbringing on his path to becoming one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. 28 Years Later
The third instalment in the 28 Days Later franchise will surely deliver on all the gory horror fans expect. Set 28 year into the future, the movie focuses on survivors of the virus and the small island they’ve made a home. The Fantastic Four
Another highly anticipated superhero reboot releasing this year is The Fantastic Four. The movie will transport audiences to a retro-futuristic 1960s world where the Fantastic Four must band together to keep their home safe from the cosmic being Galactus. Starring Vanessa Kirby, Pedro Pascal, Julia Garner. Releases July 25, 2025.

How to Train Your Dragon
The beloved 2010 animation returns to theatres as a live-action remake. Like the original animation, this year’s film follows the story of a young Viking boy who breaks centuries of tradition and befriends a Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely friendship will reveal hidden truths and challenge traditional thought. Starring Mason Thames, Gerard Butler, Nico Parker, Nick Frost. Releases June 13, 2025.

Lovers of antihero movies will love Marvel Studio’s upcoming film based on the comics of the same name. Thunderbolts focuses on a group of antiheroes pulled together to go on a mission for the United States government. Starring Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Lewis Pullman. Captain America: Brave New World
The fourth instalment in the Captain America series, Captain America: Brave New World, continues Sam Wilson’s journey as Captain America. The movie follows the events that unfold following the election of Thaddeus Ross as president and a catastrophic event that pulls Captain America on the international stage once more. Jurassic World Rebirth
This standalone sequel to the Jurassic World Dominion in 2022 will be taken on by a new ensemble cast. It takes moviegoers five years into the future from the last film. In this future, where dinosaurs are essentially now living in equatorial regions, a trio must go on a top-secret mission to obtain genetic material from the prehistoric animals that could potentially save human lives.
