The Wait is over: Ozark Season 3 streams today on Netflix

Calling all Ozark fans – season three is being released today! And the timing couldn’t be better given that we are all practicing physical distancing during the pandemic. 

For those of you who may not have heard of Ozark, prepare to do some binge-watching! The show is a gripping TV crime drama and thriller found on Netflix. 

Starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as Marty and Wendy Byrde, who, along with their two teenage kids, seems like an ordinary family living in Chicago – one of the main characters is, after all, an accountant. 

You see, by day, Marty works as a financial advisor – but, as it turns out, he is also laundering money on the side. And this isn’t just a small-time operation. He actually launders money for the second-largest Mexican Cartel. 

Of course, things go horribly wrong, and Marty and his family are forced to relocate to the Ozarks while he attempts to pay off his debt to the cartel – specifically, he needs to launder $500 million in five years. 

Needless to say, this crime thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat as Marty and Wendy attempt to survive the mess they have found themselves in.

This show has a huge following, and unsurprisingly has won a fair number of awards and nominations – specifically, eight wins and about 45 nominations. 

Just to name a few of them, the show has received two nominations for Golden Globes, and both Bateman and Linney won Emmies for their performances. Plus, there have been nominations for directing, casting, cinematography, sound mixing, and more.

This show is an ideal choice for those who are fans of Breaking Bad, Mindhunter, or Bad Blood.
