Rates for Rations Recently Revised

The monthly pay deduction rates for rations were recently revised by the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).

The new rates went into effect on August 1, 2023.

According to CANFORGEN 101/23, the new rates are as follows:

• Full Ration Strength: Cafeteria Serice $641.09
• Partial Ration Strength: Cafeteria Service $366.34 (rate based on 10 meals per week)
• Full Ration Strength: Table Service $844.34
• Partial Ration Strength: Table Service $482.48 (rate based on 10 meals per week).

Rates will be promulgated in unit routine orders, according to the CANFORGEN, and changes in rates for members subject to deductions on July 31, 2023, will be updated automatically on August 1.
