Army Commander Announces Canadian Army Corps, Regiments, and Service General Officer Appointments

Several Canadian Army Corps, Regiments, and Service General Officer appointments were recently announced.

The Commander of the Canadian Army, Lieutenant-General Michael Wright, announced the appointments in CANFORGEN 157/24.

“I am pleased to announce the following Canadian Army Corps, Regiments, Service General Officers,” said LGen Wright.

The new appointees are as follows:

  • BGen. J.G.P. Lemyre has been appointed General Officer Royal Canadian Armoured Corps (GO RCAC);
  • BGen. E.M.C. Harvey has been appointed General Officer the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery (GO RCA);
  • BGen. J.J.L.N. Pilon has been appointed General Officer of the Corps of Royal Canadian Engineers (GO REC);
  • BGen. S.M. Parsons has been appointed General Officer of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals (GO RCCS);
  • BGen. C.I. Oberwarth has been appointed General Officer of the Royal Canadian Regiment (GO RCR);
  • BGen. L.W. Rutland has been appointed General Officer Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (GO PPCLI);
  • BGen. R.P. Borque has been appointed General Officer Royal 22E Regiment Offr (GO R22ER);
  • BGen. H.S. Morrison has been appointed General Officer the Corps of Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (GO RCEME);
  • BGen. K.E. Osmond has been appointed General Officer Canadian Army Royal Canadian Logistics Service (GO CA RCLS);
  • Mgen. J.A.D. Goulet has been appointed General Officer Canadian Intelligence Corps (GO C INT C).
