The sun rises on Lviv’s city hall in this week’s #SightSeeingSunday. Snapped in 2021, Lviv is Ukraine’s sixth-largest city. Found in 1250, the city has a long history and is one of Ukraine’s main cultural centres. Feb. 24, 2025, marked the third year Russia invaded Ukraine.

Hohenschwangau, Germany
In the winter sunlight, the magnificent Neuschwanstein Castle stands tall and proud, its snow-covered towers gleaming against the crisp blue sky in our #SightSeeingSunday image of the week. Located in Hohenschwangau, Germany, on the foothills of the German Alps, the Castle is surrounded by the Alps. Opened in 1886, the Castle hosts more than 1.3 million tourists annually, with up to 6,000 visitors daily during the summer.
