Armed Forces of Ukraine soldiers conduct a final exercise, illustrating the skills they have honed for months in our favourite photo of the week. The rotation’s final exercise occurred on Aug. 6, 2023, and demonstrated all the skills the Ukrainian soldiers acquired from Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members.
Conducted under Operation UNIFIER, the training took place in the United Kingdom.
Operation UNIFIER has been underway on British soil since August 2022. Here, CAF members have worked alongside other partner nations to bring a robust training program to Ukrainian soldiers in the wake of their fight against the Russian invasion.
