BOOM!
The might of the Leopard 2A4 battle tank is on display in our favourite photo of the week.
Members of Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) conduct a live-fire range with the tank during exercise STEEL LANCE. The exercise was held in the 3rd Canadian Division Support Group Detachment Wainwright training area in Wainwright, Alberta, on March 3.
Exercises like STEEL LANCE strengthen the collective skills of Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians). The Lord Strathcona’s Horse is an Armoured Regiment within the Canadian Army. It is based in Edmonton, AB, as part of the 3rd Canadian Division’s 1 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group.
