A local citizen of Estonia has a friendly exchange with members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in our favourite photo of the week.
The picture, taken on May 13, depicts CAF members conducting urban operations in the town of Abja-Paluoja, Estonia. The operations were part of Exercise SPRING STORM.
Exercise SPRING STORM is Estonia’s largest annual military exercise, incorporating forces from other NATO nations. It lasted two weeks and included participation from Canada, Denmark, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
