Exercise RESOLUTE WARRIOR was conducted from Nov. 1-14 in Latvia’s Vidzeme and Zemgale regions and was an inaugural large-scale field training for NATO’s Multinational Brigade Latvia. The exercise involved over 3,500 soldiers from 13 NATO member nations, including Canada.
NATO’s Multinational Brigade Latvia was established in July 2024 and built off the prior NATO Multinational Battlegroup. The Brigade aims to enhance NATO’s deterrence and defence posture in the Baltic region.
The Brigade is led by Canada and consists of 13 countries. The above image was shot on Nov. 4, 2024.
