This week’s favourite photo features a member from His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Montreal’s dive team. While on Operation SAVANNE in Sudan, a member of His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Montreal’s dive team jumped from a CH-148 Cyclone helicopter.
The jump occurred on April 29, 2023, and was part of a diving exercise during the Operation.
Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members were deployed to Sudan in April 2023 to help evacuate Canadian residents and citizens from the northeast African country during its political crisis.
