The global broadcast supports frontline healthcare workers and the World Health Organization (WHO).
“The One World: Together At Home special will run in two parts: there will be a global multi-hour digital live stream running from 2 p.m. ET to 8 p.m. ET, and a 2-hour broadcast from 8 p.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET,” noted Global Citizen website.
Along with WHO, the event is presented by Global Citizen. It promises a full line up of celebrities to entertain people. Along with global health experts, frontline workers, and world leaders for a “historic multi-hour, cross-platform digital livestream broadcast event.”
While it is not a fundraiser, Global Citizen’s goal is to have people support the global fight against COVID-19.
“Join us for inspiring and heartwarming stories from the frontlines of the COVID-19 response, and appearances curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga — featuring the likes of Sir Elton John, Billie Eilish, Sir Paul McCartney, Lizzo, Stevie Wonder, and many more,” stated Global Citizen website.

One World Together At Home Broadcast
Kicking off at 8 p.m. tonight One World Together At Home Broadcast is a two hour special hosted by Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show, Stephen Colbert of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Kimmel of the Jimmy Kimmel Live!. You can also catch friends from Sesame Street as they will be on hand to help host the event.
