Canadian Armed Forces Personnel perform exercise in Ottawa this weekend

If you are in the Nepean area, Ottawa, and see groups of military members out and about, don’t be alarmed – the Canadian Armed Forces Personnel are in the Bellwood area performing a series of exercises. They will be located in the area of the Tactical Systems Integration Lab. These exercises will take place from February 8-11, 2019.

You will likely see military vehicles and small teams of CAF members performing exercises – all of whom will be unarmed. These exercises will largely take place during the day, and the CAF advises local residents and visitors to the region not to be alarmed by them. 

While there will be certain areas that are inaccessible during the weekend, the CAF state that they are working to ensure that any inconvenience for those in the area will be kept to a minimum.
