OP RUGGED FELINE Announced
New Unit Assembling
Canadian Military Family Magazine recently received an inside scoop about a top-secret operation and, let’s just say, the cat is out of the bag.
Entitled Operation RUGGED FELINE, this top-secret mission consists of training a 100 per cent feline unit.
Known for their stealth and agility, and always landing on their feet, it is reported that the feline unit, 9 Ontario Alley Cat Regiment (9 OACR), will make excellent spies and will travel the world to conduct intelligence operations for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).
LCol. Bud Dy has been brought in to train this unit. As a canine, Dy stated that the feline and canine community have put aside their differences for the common goal of serving their country.
“We will be fighting like cats and dogs, not amongst each other, but together, against the enemy. And I must admit this group is definitely not a bunch of scaredy-cats,” said Dy.
The cats are being trained in various state-of-the-art techniques including the copy-cat maneuver, the cat and mouse technique and the curiosity did-not-kill the cat exercise.
The CAF is looking forward to unleashing this unit during various operations in the near future. The 9 OACR will be an added bonus for the military and, let’s admit, their nine lives are definitely a bonus.
