Navy Commander Announces 2025 Navy Command and Senior Appointments

The Royal Canadian Navy’s (RCN) top Commander revealed several Navy Command and Senior appointments for the 2025 annual posting season.

VAdm. Angus Topshee, Commander of the RCN, gave a nod to all the new appointees announced in a recent military memo.

“VAdm Angus Topshee is pleased to announce the following navy command and senior appointments. VAdm Topshee, Comd RCN, congratulates all appointees,” reads CANFORGEN 021/25.

The CANFORGEN also advised all new commanding officers, executive officers, and Coxswains/Unit Chiefs for both sea and shore-based RCN units to attend the RCN Command Team Course (CTC).

Commanding Officers for APS 2025

According to the CANFORGEN, the following are the new commanding officers for the upcoming posting season:
