Amid snowcapped forest trees, Canadian Armed Forces Members conduct Leopard 2A4M Tank training in our favourite photo of the week.
The image was snapped by Cpl. Bastien Beaucage at Camp Adazi, Latvia, on Dec. 7, 2023. CAF members had the chance to fire the Leopard 2A4M Tanks in training.
Under Operation REASSURANCE, the CAF’s largest overseas mission, the Canadian military deployed a squadron of Leopard 2A4M to Latvia in November 2023. The military tanks helped to support the Canadian-led multinational battle group in Latvia. The battle group is one of several NATO battle groups in Latvia.
