A year in the making. Between Boxing Day and the New Year, we shared our Top 25 Articles of 2024.

This year was in no short supply of captivating stories. From stories about Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) policy changes to operations our soldiers are on and to the work of local organizations and individuals, the Canadian military community has been abuzz with change and progress in 2024.

As our military community comes together with their friends and family, it’s a time for us at the Canadian Military Family Magazine to reflect on the stories we shared with our audiences and reveal our most viewed articles of the year.

So, as the countdown to the new year begins, so does the countdown of our top articles of the year. First up are articles 12 through to the most viewed article, plus the most viewed Favourite Photo and #SightSeeingSunday.

12 | Fifth Canadian Naval Patrol Ship Officially Named after War of 1812 Hero

Coming in at number 12 is the heartwarming article about the fifth Canadian Naval Patrol Ship officially named after an 1812 war hero. The article tells the story of First Lieutenant Frederick Rollette and his chivalry. The article also details the ceremony held to commemorate this important milestone. Read the article HERE.

11 | Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM) Welcomes New Commander

Coming in at number 11 is CMF Magazine’s article on the new Commander of Canadian Special Operations Forces Command. This summer, BGen. Steve Hunter took the helm of the military’s high-readiness agile Special Operations Forces. Read the article HERE.
