RESOLUTE WARRIOR involved 3,500 Allied troops and was the first major field war-fighting exercise for the NATO Multinational Brigade in Latvia, according to NATO. NATO believes exercises such as this “serve as critical elements of NATO’s reinforced deterrence.”
The Battlegroup is led by Canada, participating under the umbrella of Operation REASSURANCE, and constitutes the involvement of twelve other countries.
