Master Corporal Colton Smith provided guidance during a simulated Counter-Improvised Explosive Device practical lesson during Exercise KHAAN QUEST 2024. The image was captured by Cpl. Alexandre Brisson at the Five Hills Training Area near Altanbulag, Mongolia, on July 29, 2024.
The exercise was part of Operation HORIZON, which is Canada’s commitment to a free and safe Indo-Pacific region. Exercise KHAAN QUEST consisted of participants from 20 different nations.
