This week’s favourite photo features Canadian Armed Forces Mechanized Infantry members serving with NATO-enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia.
Captured by Corporal Lynette Ai Dang, the image shows the personnel firing a BGM-71 TOW during an anti-armour exercise at Camp Ādaži, Latvia, on October 7, 2023.
NATO-enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia is part of Operation REASSURANCE. Approximately 1,000 Canadian Armed Forces Members are deployed in support of Operation REASSURANCE, thus making it Canada’s largest current international military operation.
