CMFMAG TeamCanadian performers are joining together to raise funds for Food Banks Canada.
Airing tonight on numerous planforms Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble will have Celine Dion, Bianca Andreescu, Hayley Wickenheiser, Justin Bieber, and Ryan Reynolds, to mention a few of the stars slated to appear in the broadcast tonight.
The event aims to raise $150 million for Food Banks Canada.
“By raising $150M in donations for COVID-19 Response Fund, Food Banks Canada will be able to provide local food banks with the resourcing needed to adapt their client delivery processes, manage demand with a decrease in volunteer resources, purchase much needed staples and help clients in quarantine situations by providing essential food supports to them at home,” stated Food Banks Canada on their Facebook page.
With a list four columns long of participants, the 90-minute event is scheduled to have Anne Murray address the recent shooting rampage in her home province Nova Scotia during the show.
“Unprecedented times – worth watching the livestreams tonight. Biggest multi-platform broadcast in Canadian history, supporting Food Banks Canada,” noted one of the participants, Col Chris Hadfield, on Facebook.
The broadcast begins at 6:30 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. NT.
