RMC Saint-Jean opens its doors to the public
Royal Military College St-Jean will open their doors to the public on Saturday, September 14th and Saturday, November 9th, 2019, from 9am-4pm.
Located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, RMC Saint-Jean was founded in 1952. In 1995, the college was closed before re-opening in 2008 to offer post-secondary education, leading to a diploma of college studies in Science and Social Science. The college offers all programs in both official languages.
According to the college’s website, “Studying at the Royal Military College Saint-Jean is a privileged gateway to subsidized college studies leading to a university degree; it is also the first step towards a stimulating and rewarding career in an environment where teamwork is privileged.”
Upon successful completion of their studies, students go on to become officers of the Canadian Armed Forces and are required to serve for five to seven years following graduation.
The open house tour will offer a guided tour and program information, as well as the opportunity to meet with RMC personnel, teachers, and current students. There will be senior staff of RMC Saint-Jean present for interviews across both days. Recruiters will also be on scene in order to answer any questions about the selection process.
There will also be an opportunity to meet sports teams members, various social clubs, the library, classrooms, and residences. Practical workshops will be taking place in the laboratories, and visitors will also be invited to take part.
To apply to the college, the applicant must be a Canadian citizen, at least sixteen years of age and close to obtaining their high-school diploma.
It is not necessary to reserve attendance for the event and for more information and details of how to apply to the college to visit their website here.
